This tour will be faith affirming as you travel just 30 mins south from Jerusalem to visit the tomb of Rachel and the city of Bethlehem. The tour of these sites crosses over the Green Line, the official border between Israel and the Palestinian Territories. It is only recommended for those who feel safe to make this tour. - Judaism's favorite fore-mother is Rachel. Rachel is the only matriarch not buried in Hebron at the Tombs of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs. This experience is a particularly powerful moment for all women. - Bethlehem is the birthplace of Jesus and you'll see the biblical land at is was 2000 years ago. We will also see the striking and inspiring frescoes at the Church of the Shepherds in the Field.
